Dancing Boots

There are many kinds of dances known to the society. From traditional/folk dances to ballroom dance that is often required in certain social gathering events. Ballet is the basic skill that inspires other genre of dances. Ballet shows usually tell certain stories through dancing and music. Other dances known are including tap dance, Latin dance, jazz dance, hip-hop, swing, contra, country and western.  Each type of dance calls for a certain kind of attire including the right kind of footwear.

A ballerina will need ballet slippers to help her tiptoe. When you are a tap dancer, the right shoes to make the tapping sounds are mandatory. What kind of dance call for boots?  That will be Country dancing. The informal dance refers to the dancing techniques that go with country music. This type of dance has two categories: group and couple dancing. Usually dancers are dressed down in casual shirts, jeans, cowboy hats and boots.

Cowboy boots are traditionally without laces, having pointed or toes with shafts and made of leather. Sometimes the boots are made from exotic animal skin like ostrich, alligator, or snake, to mention a few. The boots cones in two basic styles.
First, the western styles with tall boot shafts and angled heels. Western styles usually have pointed toes. Second, the roper styles with shorter shaft and very low heels usually with rounded toes.

The boots for country dancing should fit properly to your feet. Pay special attention to the heel, instep, and ball. The proper selection will assure you to move around properly.
